Nicole A. Fuini, of Uncasville and formerly of Colchester, passed away at home on March 4, 2023. She was 40 years old. Born on December 27, 1982 in Farmington, she was a daughter of Ted Fuini of Colchester and Ellen (Hollman) Goodreau of Middletown.Nicole was a homemaker taking great pride in her home and family whom she adored. Nicole had an affinity for science, she loved animals, especially her pet cats, and she enjoyed doing arts and crafts in her free time. Most importantly, she was a kind and caring family woman who will be remembered with love by her fiancé of many years, Jason Rivers; her children, Eli and Noah Rivers, Kaelyn Zakaitis of MA; her parents, Ted (Kim) Fuini of Colchester, Ellen (Michael) Goodreau of Middletown; two sisters, Mairi (Shawn) Sheppo of New London, Kristen (Chance) Martin of Franklin, a brother, Teddy (Hilary) Fuini of Cromwell; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 15th at 10:00 am directly at St. Andrew Church, 128 Norwich Ave., Colchester. Burial will follow in Jordan Cemetery in Waterford.
