Pamela Brown, 82 years of age, a longtime Lebanon resident, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones, on August 14, 2024. Born May 11, 1942, in New London Connecticut, she was the daughter of the late Franklin and Helen (Dean) Kopp. Pamela attended Bacon Academy, graduating with the class of 1960. On August 7, of the same year she would marry the love of her life Pete Brown. The couple would spend the next 64 years together, enjoying each other’s company while raising their children, and settling into the family’s home. She spent many years employed at United Aircraft as an administrative representative. Pamela was an animal lover at heart, this passion would lead her to pursue a position working with the Humane Society. During this time, she would be exposed to many types of animals, with her all-time favorites being feline companions. She also found great joy in assisting with the production of Kind News, a paper distributed to many kindergarten age children in the area. She could often be found crafting, gardening, or working on various home improvement projects. Pamela enjoyed traveling with her family whether it be a day trip, cruise, or one of many unforgettable camping trips with her husband Pete and their close friend group, the affectionately self-described “Psycho Six”. She will be profoundly missed and forever remembered by all that knew her, as a loving wife, mother, and friend. Pamela is survived by her husband, Pete Brown; son, Dale Brown; daughter, Dawn and husband Lewis Chabot; grandchildren, Evan Brown, Jared Brown, Chelsea Mastronunzio and husband Lee, Zachary Chabot and wife Solange Garcia, along with many other extended family members and dear friends. A Funeral Service will be held on August 24, 11am at the Goshen Church, 157 Church Road, Lebanon, CT. A Committal Ceremony will take place on September 13, at the Goshen Cemetery located in Lebanon.
