Pamela E. Harmon, 70, of Colchester, passed away on the morning of Thursday, December 1, 2022, at Backus Hospital. Born November 11, 1952, in Concord, Vermont; she was a daughter of the late Fred Nichols, and Jacqueline (Wright) Christian. Pamela had gifted hands when it came to knitting, crocheting or quilting. She loved to be outdoors taking walks with her sister Sandy and collecting rocks for her garden, a hobby she extended to all of her family and friends who were required to bring her a rock from any trips they took. She also enjoyed painting rocks for friends or to hide along a trail. If you had a chance to talk with her it was easy to see that her grandsons were held dearly in her heart. She is survived by her ex-husband, Brian Harmon, who remained a dear friend and someone she could always rely on being there no matter the situation; her daughter, Jacqueline Sypher; sisters, Juanita Case, Sandra Nichols, Donna Jones and Christine Franklin; grandchildren, Jordan Parker and fiancé, Niki Appell, Noah Parker and fiancé, Mercedez Muñoz, Tanner Parker and girlfriend, Caleigh Bittman; great granddaughter, Everly Parker and two more on the way; and numerous other extended family and friends. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her brother, Fred Nichols. Services will be private at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial donations be made to the American Heart Association www.heart.org or paint a rock and hide it along your favorite trail.
