Patricia "Patty" Scoons

Patricia “Patty” Scoons, 62, of East Haddam, CT passed away Sunday, May 23, 2021 at home. She was born December 2, 1958, in Albany, New York, the eldest daughter of the late William and Betty Scoons. She shares four children: Candice Bowe, William Jordan Jr., Theresa Short, and Stephanie Jordan with her lifelong friend William Jordan Sr. Patty was a woman who enjoyed family, friends, and a good time. Above all, she took most pride and joy in raising her four children. She shared enormous love for her children as well as her grandchildren; Kylle Jordan, Philip Smith, Kennedy Smith, Annalise Jordan, Eva Short, Lennon Short, Lillian Bowe, and William Bowe who knew her as “Meme”. For all who knew her would say she is someone who had a genuine heart. She would do anything she could for anyone and always welcomed her friends and family. For now we must endure the silence she leaves us in without her witty banter. She will be deeply missed as she has left us too soon. She also leaves behind her daughter-in-law Tessa Jordan, son-in-laws William Bowe Jr and Steven Short, loving sister Janet Gilbert and brother William Scoons.
