Paul K. Taff, 74, of Andover, passed away peacefully but far too soon on March 22, 2021. Paul was a jack of all trades and master of most. He worked in a wide range of fields in his professional career, but his constant love was teaching, whether in or out of the classroom. His garage full of tools attests to his love of working with his hands and his do-it-himself spirit. He and his truck were always ready to rescue someone stranded on the side of the road with a flat tire or stuck in the soft sand of a Nantucket beach. He was happiest fishing (and hopefully catching) from the shores of Nantucket or Montauk. He is deeply missed by all friends and family, especially by his wife of fifty years, Valerie Taff, of Andover; his daughter, Stephanie Taff, and her husband, Erich Bolton, of Winter Garden, FL; and his brother Richard Taff and his wife, Susan, of Glastonbury. He was predeceased by his parents, Paul K. Taff and Dawn Odell Taff, of Glastonbury. His family thanks the dedicated doctors and nurses who cared for him in the ICU at St. Francis Hospital. In keeping with his love for helping people, his family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in his memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at https://www.stjude.org.
