Peter Rios Zarate

Peter Rios Zarate, 72, of East Haddam, passed away peacefully at home on the morning of Tuesday, November 3, 2020. Born January 4, 1948; he was the son of the late Catarino and Lupe Zarate. Peter worked in the construction Industry for over 20 years. In his spare time he enjoyed being outdoors in nature or working with his hands on various landscaping projects. Peter was a man with a big heart who will be forever missed and loved by his sister Patricia Hungerford of East Haddam; nephews Leon and wife Katy Hungerford of East Haddam, Dennis Pellegrini of San Antonio, TX; and numerous extended family and friends. In addition to his parents he is predeceased by his brother in law Steven Hungerford and nephew Richard Hungerford. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in Peter’s memory to the American Cancer Society, P.O.
