Reginald Frank Todd, 88, of Salem, passed away on Monday, March 15, 2021 at Backus Hospital. Born May 27, 1932 in Hawthrone, NJ to the late Clifford and Florence (Decker) Todd; he was the middle child of eleven siblings. He was predeceased by his wife of 65 years Bertha (Sekeet) Todd. He is survived by his daughters Cecelia (Bruce) Grisafe of Salem, and Bertha Todd of Stockholm, NJ; his grandchildren Bruce, Regina and Michael; eleven great grandchildren; four great grandchildren, his brothers Philip of Manahawkin, NJ, Robert of Graham, North Carolina, and Ken (Marlene) of Sparks, NV and numerous other extended family. In addition to his wife and parents he is predeceased by his son Reginald Jr, his daughter Frederica Todd and seven other siblings. Reginald worked for over 20 years at the Paramus NJ Department of Public Works. In the early 2000’s he and Bertha moved to Salem, CT. He was a skilled handyman and woodworker; he loved building wishing wells and lawn silhouettes. He was always his happiest when he was outdoors working with his hands, whether it was spending time in his garden, or in his tool shed. Care of private arrangements have been entrusted to the Aurora-McCarthy Funeral Home of Colchester. In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial donations be made in Reginald’s name to the Gardner Lake Fire House 429 Old Colchester Road, Salem, CT 06420.
