Ritamarie Peatie, age 76, of Baltic, CT, passed away on April 14, 2024. She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Ritamarie was known for her funny and spontaneous personality, always keeping her loved ones on their toes.

She is survived by her daughter Teresa Masci (Peatie), granddaughters Kristin Oddis (Michael Oddis ll) and Tiffany Masci, great granddaughters Makayla and Bonnie Oddis, as well as her brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews. Ritamarie was preceded in death by her son Thomas Duncan Peatie Jr., significant other Joseph Anthony Ardolino, mother Mildred Carmela (LaPira) Dickey, and Father Robert Henry Dickey.

Ritamarie had a career at Middletown Union, Go Fly A Kite, The White House Restaurant, and worked as a CNA in various locations. She was also the best stay-at-home Grandma to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In her free time, Ritamarie loved spending time with her (great)grandkids, drawing, painting, reading, and watching horror movies with her daughter. She also enjoyed playing with her daughter's cats and napping with them.

A celebration of life for Ritamarie Peatie will be held at Aurora-McCarthy Funeral Home, located at 167 Old Hartford Rd, Colchester, CT 06415, on April 28, 2024, from 2 pm to 4 pm. A Catholic Priest will be speaking at 3:30 pm during the service. Flowers can be delivered to the funeral home.
