Robert "Bobby" Gyome

Robert “Bobby” Gyome, 69, of Colchester passed away peacefully on November 24, 2020. Born July 4, 1951; he was a son of the late Paul and Christine Gyome. For several years Bobby worked as a member of the maintenance crew for the Department of Transportation for the town of Colchester. He enjoyed spending time outdoors hunting and fishing, but his greatest joy in life came from the simple things, he was a true New York Yankees fan and loved to spend time with his friends living in the moment, or enjoying a cold beer to wash down one of his favorite little Debbie snacks.  He will be forever loved by his brother Peter (Kathy) Gyome of Florida and sister Patricia (Tom) Bucko of Colchester; nieces Victoria Dwyer of Florida and Tiffany and Stacy Bucko of Colchester; his good friends Timmy (Jane) Durato and Mike Bart of Colchester, his dear friends at Dublin Village; and numerous extended family and friends. Due to COVID, a memorial celebration of Bobby’s life will be announced at a later date. Burial will be private.
