Robert H. Wallace of Bozrah, passed away peacefully at home on November 25, 2025. He was born in Jersey City, NJ on August 30th, 1950, to Robert and Doris Wallace. As a young man he lived an adventurous life, traveling the world working on ships as a Merchant Marine. In May 1994 he married the love of his life, Donna Junge. Together they had one son, Billy, and raised Billy and their crew of cats and dogs in Bozrah, CT. Bob was the founder and owner of Industrial Diagnostic Systems and Services for 40 years. He was so proud when Billy joined him in the business after college to serve clients all over the Northeast.
Bob was a faithful servant of the Lord and served as a Deacon at several churches over the years. In his free time, he enjoyed volunteering at food pantries, golfing, and fishing. He loved music of all kinds, from jam bands, to classical, to gospel, and was a talented guitarist and vocalist. More than anything, he loved to spend time with his family, telling stories of his full life and all the people he had met along the way.
He will be sadly missed, but always remembered with love by his wife Donna, his mother-in-law Sonja; his son Billy and wife Kathryn of Providence, RI; his sister Lynda Donato, and many extended family and friends. A memorial service will be held on January 9th, 2026 at Aurora McCarthy Funeral Home of Colchester from 4-6pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to St. Vincent De Paul Place Food Pantry in Norwich, CT in honor of Bob’s service to others.
