Sally Ann Baine, 83, of Norwich, passed away on Friday, December 13, 2024, at Backus Hospital in Norwich. Born June 10, 1941, in Pittsburg, PA; she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Sally (Drzewinski) Bencho. In 1990 she married her husband Charles Baine, prior to marriage they had been a part of each other’s lives for 47 years. Sally turned their house into a home, throughout the years she would beautifully and meticulously decorate the house for every holiday season and used her skilled sewing and baking skills to make lasting memories for her family whom she loved more than anything else in the world. She always put the needs of her loved ones above everything else. She will be forever remembered as a devoted wife and mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She is survived by her husband Charles Baine; sons Jim Oddis and Ronald Oddis; grandchildren Matthew Danforth, Michael Oddis the II and wife Kristin Oddis, and Heather Marie; four great grandchildren; family friend Teresa Masco and numerous other extended family and friends. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her sister Michelle Faith Danforth and nephew Andy Hayde. Calling hours will be held at the Aurora-McCarthy Funeral Home, 167 Old Hartford Rd, Colchester, CT on Sunday, January 12, 2025 from 12 to 2 PM, followed by a memorial service at 2 PM at the funeral home. A reception will take place after the memorial service at the Colchester Fish and Game Club on Old Amston Rd in Colchester from 2 to 5 PM.
