Shannon Michele Kuzel

Shannon Michele Kuzel 54, of Mansfield and formerly of Lebanon, died unexpectedly  on December 9, 2021at Hartford Hospital. Born on May 27, 1967, she was a daughter of Norman and Ella Mae (Clinch) Kuzel, of Lebanon.  Shannon was a 1985 graduate of Lyman Memorial High School and earned her bachelor’s degree from Springfield College.  Guided by her faith and love of holistic medicine and her amazing gift of healing Shannon furthered her education at the CT School of Massage Therapy and the Pacific College of San Diego, School of Acupuncture. Throughout the eighties she shared her amazing zest for life and natural athleticism through her involvement in The New England Cheerleading Association. Shannon returned home upon completion of her education and training to practice her gift of healing operating Elements of Healing in Lebanon.  She shared her love of nature with the Lebanon Garden Club and by tending the gardens at her church Saint Francis of Assisi in Lebanon.  Shannon’s cooking and wonderful meals will be missed by all who enjoyed them over the years.  Most importantly, Shannon will always  be remembered for her love of God and how full her heart was when surrounded by family.  Her loss will be mourned by many and she will be sadly missed but always be lovingly remembered by her parents, Norman and Ella Mae Kuzel; her companion Scott Hughes, her siblings and their spouses, Skip Kuzel of Port Gibson Mississippi, Shawn and Randy Smith of Norfolk Virginia, Sherrilyn and Kieran Flannery of Lebanon CT. Shayla and Glen Coutu of Lebanon CT. Shirleen and Michael Garrahy of Rocky Hill CT. Shane and Alice Kuzel of Pomfret CT. beloved family friend / sister Mary Horan of Lebanon CT., her loving cat Frankie, Numerous nieces and nephews, several grand nieces and nephews and many extended family and friends.  A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday December 18 2021 11:00 AM at St. Andrew Church   Colchester CT. Masks will be mandatory to attend the funeral mass. Burial will be private at the discretion of the family. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to Joshua’s Trust, P.O.
