Thaxton Waverly Kaye, “Slim”, 35, of Salem, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, April 19, 2018. Born December 20, 1982 in Norwich, he was the son of Brian and Linda (McNally) Kaye of Lebanon. Slim grew up in Lebanon and was a graduate of Lyman Memorial High School. He worked as a lineman with IBEW Local 42 for many years. Slim loved the outdoors and was an avid sportsman, as well as a cycling enthusiast. In addition to his parents, he leaves his beloved girlfriend, Kristie Wernicki of Bozrah; as well as and numerous extended family and friends. The family will receive guests 4 – 7 PM Monday (April 23rd) at the Aurora-McCarthy Funeral Home, 167 Old Hartford Road Colchester, with a Time of Remembrance at 6:45 PM during the visitation.
