Theodore John Kozin

Theodore John Kozin “Ted”, 69, of Groton passed away on the early morning of Monday, February 5, 2024, at Harrington Court in Colchester. Born October 8, 1954, in Willimantic CT; he was the son of the late Benjamin Kozin and Alice (Wadsworth) Kozin. He worked for several years as a material handler at General Cable Industries in Willimantic. In his spare time, Ted was an avid outdoors man, he loved to go fishing and hunting and spending time out in nature. When he wasn’t out in the woods he could often be found inside watching and cheering on his favorite sports teams, the UConn Huskies and Boston Red Sox. He is survived by his sister Barbara Kozin and her husband Kevin Bill, and numerous other extended family and friends. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his sister Mary-Lou Kozin. Care of private arrangements has been entrusted to the Aurora-McCarthy Funeral Home of Colchester.
