Thomas Sherman

Thomas “Danny” Sherman 80, of Lebanon, passed away at home, on the evening of November 24, 2024. Born September 18, 1944, in Lebanon, CT; he was a son of the late Charles and Francis (Ward) Sherman. Thomas spent his younger years keeping busy with local farm work, learning many skills that would lead him to a career as a general contractor. He worked with Meehan and Daughters real estate, where his talents for craftmanship and attention to detail would be passed on to his son Nathaniel as the father son team spent many years completing countless projects together. Thomas was known as the man who “could fix anything” yet dearest to his heart would always remain his family. Whether it be a day well spent with his beloved wife Donna and their children or a conversation with his dear brother Fred Bushey. After retiring Thomas could fully embrace his role as a grandfather and great grandfather. Thomas could often be found enjoying a round of videogames, Mario and Sonic being some of his classic favorites. Thomas will be greatly missed and forever remembered by all who knew him as a genuine loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He is survived by his children, Nathaniel, Edith, Frieda; granddaughter, Alexandra Collard; great grandchildren, Jayson and Lilith. along with numerous other extended family and dear friends. In addition to his parents he is predeceased by his loving wife Donna Sherman and his brother Fred Bushey. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Aurora-McCarthy Funeral Home.
