Tony Siragusa, of Mystic, passed away peacefully, with Robin by his side, on October 9, 2025, at Lawrence and Memorial Hospital in New London. He was 80 years old. Tony was born on May 4, 1945, son to the late Frank and Teresa (LaTulippe) Siragusa. He was a graduate of Norwich Free Academy in 1963. Immediately after high school, Tony joined the US Air Force. He served during the Vietnam War from 1964 – 1967 and continued his service in the military with the Air National Guard, retiring after 18 years. He married the love of his life, Robin Lapierre in 1968. The couple shared 57 years of marriage. Tony retired in 1997 after a long and successful career with the CT Department of Transportation. His loss will be felt by many, especially his beloved wife, Robin; siblings, Marie, Frank, Jr., Albert “Peter” (Christine) Siragusa; two nephews, a niece and many extended family members and friends. A graveside funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16th at 10:30 am directly at the New Lebanon Cemetery, 174 Waterman Road, Lebanon. The Aurora-McCarthy Funeral Home of Colchester has been entrusted with care of arrangements.
