William Floyd Otfinoski, fondly known as Bill, of Colchester, passed away peacefully at home on June 24, 2026, with his loving family attentively by his side. He was 88 years old. Bill was born on July 9, 1937, in Meridan, CT. He was the son of the late William and Catherine Otfinoski. Bill earned a master’s degree in college and took a job with Pratt and Whitney Aerospace, advancing through the years in Administration. Bill married Jean Anderson in August of 1990. The couple resided in Colchester where Bill became actively involved with the Colchester Senior Center. He will be remembered as a kind, loving, and devoted family man, with a gentle soul. He will be sadly missed but always remembered with love by all who knew him, especially his wife Jean Anderson; children, Eric Otfinoski of CA, William and his wife Naomi Murata Otfinoski of CA, Nathan Otfinoski of MA, Tyler and his wife Marissa Otfinoski of MA; grandchildren, Hope, Ryder, and Colin; a sister, Bernadette Bennett and husband Phillip Bennett; several nieces and nephews; and many extended family members and friends. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Robert Otfinoski. Funeral services will be held privately according to his wishes.
