William Brian Ross, fondly known as Bill, of Lebanon, passed away on Friday, November 28th at his home with his beloved family by his side. He was 63 years old. Bill was born on May 3, 1962, in New London, CT. He was the son of the late Arthur and Edna (Farrell) Ross. He grew up in Waterford and graduated from high school there. He married the love of his life, Cora Bradfield Quinn on August 19, 1989. The couple lived in Marlborough and more recently moved to Lebanon. Bill retired from Millstone as the Health Physics Supervisor. In his free time, Bill enjoyed making craft beer, gardening, freshwater fishing, and woodwork construction. He was also an avid sports fan of the Red Sox and UCONN Basketball teams. Most importantly, Bill will be remembered by his loved ones and friends for his kind, soft and gentle heart. He will be sadly missed but always remembered with love by his wife of 36 years, Cora; his step-daughter, Marcie Quinn of Lebanon; siblings and their spouses, Arthur (Lindi) Ross of Simsbury, Michael (Jeanne) Ross of Westbrook, Peter (Connie) Ross of Old Lyme, Jeanne (Lawrence) Provenzano of Long Island, NY; His sisters-in-law Priscilla (Tim) Erisoty, Edie (George) Dunbar; His doodle companion’s Ziva and Abby, many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, many extended family members and friends. Special thank you to the team of Hartford Health Care Hospice for their tender care in guiding us through this transition. Funeral services will be held from the Aurora-McCarthy Funeral Home, 167 Old Hartford Rd, Colchester, beginning with calling hours on Friday, December 12th from 4PM to 6PM. Burial will be held privately. Donations in Bill’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society and Protectors of Animals.
