I am so sorry to hear of Mr. Mohrlein's passing. I always enjoyed his stories and insights when he would visit Town Hall. He was one of my favorite people in Colchester!

John "Papa Bear" Mohrlein as he was called "back in the day" was a kind and gentle man but you would never know it unless you got to know him. He always had a loud bark but never a bite. He was such a hard worker tending to his beautiful farm and animals and it seemed like whatever the time of day or night you drove by his farm, there he was, hard at work doing something. Colchester has lost yet another legend that made this Town what it is today. It was a pleasure to know him and have him as a friend. Rest In Peace John as you deserve to.
