Duke,

Just became aware of the loss of your son, my condolences. I'm in Florida for 6 months. I spent many years at Pratt, mostly at Willgoos where you did many jobs. Again, sorry for your loss.

My deepest condolences to the family, may you find comfort in prayer and the beautiful words of Isaiah 25:8 where God promises us that He will soon eliminate all death and suffering. Acts 24:15 speaks of a resurrection, a time when God will reunite us with our loved ones again! I hope this helps bring some comfort in this time of sorrow. https://tv.jw.org/#en/video/VODBible/pub-jwbcov_201405_5_VIDEO

Today is October 30, 2016 and I just happened to stumble across this tragedy. I had the honor of knowing and working with both Kevin and his mom at Diane's restaurant in Westchester a long time ago. Before I had my first car, he would pick me up in his blue Ford pickup truck and we would go in early. Kevin would make the bacon and I would get things set up. His mom worked as a waitress. Both great people. Kevin would give you the shirt off his back. I remember the great times, the laughs, and the little things he would teach me from cooking to cars. My deepest sympathy to his family and friends.

My condolences to the family on the loss of your loved one. God's word tells us that God hates death and promises to do away with death in the near future, and to bring back to life those asleep in death. I hope this message gives you a measure of hope during this difficult times (Isaiah 25:8; Acts 24:15).

Kevin, it has been one week since you passed and it still doesn't feel real. So tragic, it's hard to understand why God would take someone so kind and someone who thought of others before himself. No words can express the loss that we all have to live with.
Rest in peace my friend.

Kevin is an awesome person. I find it hard to believe such a good asset to this world was taken. It was always a pleasure to talk with him whether it was about shop or just trivial things. I will miss him.

I retired from Bacon Academy in 2002 and had Kevin in my automotive class. Kevin was always a pleasure to have as a student and it was very upsetting to hear of his passing. He will surely be missed by everyone.

I was made aware Kevin's passing by a co-worker who thought we may have been related. Though I don't believe there is a direct relation I was moved to write something once I discovered the nature of Kevin's passing.
You have my deepest condolences and sympathy. I just lost a cousin to cancer over the weekend and all I can say is that it is the memories of our loved ones and the joy that they have brought others which will keep them alive in our hearts and minds throughout the rest of our lives.

I remember the first time my sister Kelly introduced us to Kevin. Our first impression of Kevin was that he was a great guy, so genuine. It was clear that Kevin and Kelly were in love. We were so happy for them. We knew from that day he would be part of our family. I can't put into words what a devastating loss this is. We will miss him so much.

Kevin's obituary describes him well... Very thankful for having him cross my path as his friendship helped me in so many ways... Building a house, weathering a not so nice divorce and even literally picking me up off the road after hitting a deer on my motorcycle. Just a few of the many things KEVIN did that touched me personally.

I will miss him talking to whatever engine or machine he is working with coaxing it back into operation as well as well as his simple companionship when it really mattered.

A great guy, a huge loss to everyone who was fortunate to have crossed his path.... Rest In Peace my friend....

My sincere condolences.

I didn't know Kevin but this tragedy really struck me and sending condolences to all that knew him and will miss him. Unbelievable loss of such a good person from reading his obituary.. What a waste and could have been avoided had that person chose to stay off the roads if drinking or using drugs.

Rest in peace

I passed the accident in the southbound lane of 91 that Saturday as I was bringing my Granddaughter home. As I saw the damage of Kevin's truck over the guardrail I thought, though it didn't look possible, that everyone survived. Only to find out, he didn't. I didn't know Kevin. But from the obituary , he was an amazing person. God will keep him now and Im sure He and Kevin will watch over you all.
