Victor Thomas Botticello
September 30, 1948 ~ May 5, 2017 (age 68) 68 Years OldVictor Thomas Botticello, 68, of Lebanon, passed away Friday (May 5, 2017) at Hartford Hospital after a long battle with complications from Lyme Disease. He leaves his loving wife of 45 years, Patricia (Russo) Botticello; their two children, Luke Botticello and wife, Jodi and Katie Botticello-White and husband, Stephen, all of Lebanon; a grandson, Kevin; a brother and sister-in-law, Barry and Patti Botticello of Manchester; his mother-in-law, Helen Russo of Lebanon; and numerous extended family and friends. Born Sept. 30, 1948 in Manchester, he was the son of the late Thomas and Ethel (Luettgens) Botticello. He grew up in Lebanon, attending local schools and went on to study Agriculture at UCONN. After he and Patty were married in 1971, they settled on the family farm on Levita Road. Over the years, he had a dairy herd in addition to driving school bus and working at the family truck parts yard nearby. Vic loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing in addition to working the land. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated 10:30 AM Wednesday (May 10th) directly at St. Andrew Church, 128 Norwich Avenue, Colchester. The family will receive guests at the church one hour prior to Mass. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Boston Children’s Hospital Trust, 401 Park Drive, Ste. 602, Boston, MA 02215 (giving.childrenshospital.org) to fund research toward treating and curing pediatric Lyme Disease. Care of arrangements has been entrusted to the Aurora-McCarthy Funeral Home of Colchester.
