Dear Wenona and Ed,
No words can express the sympathy that I extend to you and your family. Will was such a beautiful person, as you already knew. I greatly enjoyed working with him at PCCC when we had bible school or vacation bible school. It is a great loss to those here on earth, but he is a wonderful addition to the angels in heaven. May God give you the strength to keep going and the love to comfort you at this time.
Prayers are with you,
Nancy and Steven

Sorry for your loss. Please accept my deepest condolences. When I think of losing a loved one as you have, it brings to mind the promise that the Bible holds out at Revelation 21:3,4 where it says that the Grand Creator Jehovah God will wipe away sickness and death forever and reunite us with our loved ones on a clean earth in the near future.(John 5:28,29; Psalms 83:18)
jw.org has more encouragement.

We loved Will like a son. He was a light and a blessing in our lives. We enjoyed so many special moments and memories with him. He made everyone that he was with feel special, he always cared about what was going on in our lives. We shared so many laughs, much love, good music (a shared love of DMB), many rounds of golf (with Mr.P and Joe), and good talks. We could always feel how much he loved and cared for all of us. He loved our daughter, Alexa, and brought her so much joy and happiness and for that we will forever be grateful. They shared a forever love that is an enduring blessing in her life and in ours. We love you Will and we'll miss you always.

Dear Wendy, Ed, Ed Jr., and Sarah,
My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this extremely difficult time. Thank you for sharing your amazing son with us, he illuminated any life he touched. My heart is broken, as so many are. It is a testament to the wonderful young man he was. He brought life and laughter into our lives. He was a brilliant student who loved history, but even more importantly, loved humanity. He told me of his accomplishments at Eastern and his ambitions to go on to law school. I told him he was destined to be a great teacher. I realize now, he always was. He taught us all to love life and each other. His warm smile and his contagious laughter will never be forgotten.

I wish you all peace and comfort during this difficult time. God bless you all.

We were saddened to hear of Will's passing. Will was the kindest and most generous person. I had the pleasure of having Will as a band student from grade 4 into high school. He was a fine musician and always willing to take on a challenge. It was an honor to be his teacher and to know him. Blessings of peace and comfort to the McLaughlin family.

I remember Will getting on the bus, the first day first grade. He was excited and had a big smile. He and Ed were always great to see every morning for years. He was kind and smart and I was lucky to go to school with him even though we were years apart. I will remember him and think of you and send you strength. I am so sorry for your loss of such a wonderful person gone too soon.

Had the pleasure of getting to know Will during a week-long mission trip in Calais, Maine where we did lots of community service. Based on his willingness to serve, and his compassion for others I had the sense that Will had a bright future. This is such a tragic loss. You have the prayers of all of us from Salem Lutheran in Minneapolis that got to know Will during that wonderfull week.
